OK, so I come from FL and we speed down there. I got a speeding ticket in York County and I have no idea how to pay for it. Where do I send the check to? Is there a phone number where I could call and pay with a credit card? Thanks.
You should be able to pay it by the York County government center on Herlong. You do not speed ANYWHERE in York County, especially in Fort Mill or on state owned/maintained roads (Celanese as an example).

I'm surprised that there is no info on the ticket itself.
SC cops love speeders!! We all need to be careful!

You state that you rec'd a speeding ticket within in York County..but you don't say specifically where (it can make a difference since some towns/cities within York County have their own police departments). Anywho I am going to assume you were pulled over by the York County Sheriff's...if that is the case you need to contact the Magistrate office (I have provided a link below that has the contact information)
Thanks! I got the info from York Co. website. The ticket didn't say anything. Now I know NOT to speed up in I77 a few miles of NC. The speed limit went from 70 to 60 and I was caught going 69.
Damn, I usually srt my cc at 69...I'll drop it down a mph or two. Also, the cops have been out on the NC side. They sit under the overpasses on motorcycles so they are hard to see.
I have been traveling the I77 for close to 4 years now...and just noticed something the other day in regard to speed limits. I know for a fact that the speed limit is 60mph on the South Carolina side/York County/Fort Mill area (just past the NC stateline/Charlotte). Now here is what I was not aware of until the other day....I entered the I77 at Arrowood (NC side) and proceeded to head towards South Carolina....having my cruise control set right at 70mph (what I thought was the speed limit)...all of a sudden I notice the posted speed limit sign is 55mph (right by 485 interchange). I have traveled this route many times before and never realized it was 55mph through there...man do I feel lucky I've never been stopped.
In NC - The speed limit changes from 65 to 55 around the I-85 interchange(exit 13) north of uptown. I don't think anyone on I-77 goes that speed.
