Does anyone have any info on the cable company is in Fort Mill? Are they similar to Time Warner and Comcast? I currently have Dish net and I was wondering if I should just keep the dish or switch over to Cable.
This has been discussed many times in this forum. The York County portion of Fort Mill, including the town of Fort Mill, is served only by Comporium, the same company which provides landline telephone. They provide decent service, about 160 channels, but do not offer any of the special sports packages. The Lancaster Co. side of FM, including the Indian Land area, is served by Comporium, with the same offereings as above, and is also served by Time Warner/Charlotte, with exactly the same service that is offered in Charlotte---as many as 300 channels, all sports packages available, and slightly higher rates.

THanks,
Comporium is OK. As Moedog said, they do not offer any of the sports packages. Their HD offerings are limited compared to the satellite providers. We get ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, ESPN, ESPN2, Discover, National Geographic, and HDNET Movies in HD. I believe they offer HBO in HD as well. That's it. I haven't heard anything on any additional HD channels coming soon.
