Hello,

I have searched the forum and there are not many threads (especially recently) regarding apartments. I will be moving to Fort Mill at the end of this month. I will be down there next week for 48 hours, so I need to find a place quick. I am looking for a 2BR/2BA apartment. It is my understanding that I can't go wrong with any of the elementary schoola. So my focus is being in a safe area. I have several places that I want to check out but since my time is limited. I want to know if you all could recommend some places that are great and which ones that I should stay away from.

All of Fort Mill is safe. Pick just about any apartment complex and you should be fine. About the only one I'd avoid is Avery Lakes. Here's a list of some all around Fort Mill:

Bromley Village
Millcrest Park
Peachtree Place
The Commons at Fort Mill
Century Springfield Meadows
Legacy Fort Mill
Arbors at Fort Mill
Palmetto Place

If you are willing to be just over the river in Rock Hill, there's Pace's River or Riverwalk,

gympsy123 - there are only two in Fort Mill. 29708 and 29715. Both are safe - ALL of Fort Mill is safe. There's one small section that is a bit poorer than the rest, but it's not like crime is rampant there. It's just not kept up as well as other areas.

There's also The Willows and Greens which are newer apartment communities.

My friend manages Palmetto Place. Seems nice for the price.
