Hey all,

I am going back and forth trying to decide whether to accept a job offer in Kershaw, SC. I currently live in Rock Hill and the 40 mile drive is about 50 minutes to an hour (no traffic).

Does anyone know if traffic gets bad during the morning or afternoon commutes? I'll be on the road by 6:45 am and out by 4pm. It's basically Route 5 to 521 through Lancaster until i reach Kershaw. One problem is that this route travels through living communities where the speed limit can jump down to 35 at parts...NOT GOOD when trying to get to work on time!

Any opinions....???? I don't know if it will be worth the hassle every day.

That is a ways out but not much traffic. I wouldn't go above the speed limit much. If I am not mistaken, you can also take 77 to Kershaw.

The traffic isn't bad at all. The only traffic you will really encounter is on Main St. Lancaster. The lights tend to get everything backed up, but you can take the streets that run parallel and they are much quicker.

FYI...77 does not bring you close to Kershaw. Your best bet is the route you stated.

You're going against traffic on 5 and 521. There should be no problem.
