Any recs for a pediatric dentist? I've heard of Young & Polite - any thoughts? I'd prefer someone in Fort Mill or Ballantyne or South Charlotte as that is easier to coordinate with work commute.

I hated the dentist as a child so I'm hoping to pick a good one for my son!

Thanks.

Michelle

Default Laxer, Long and Savage

My daughter, 4 years old, just visited Dr Laxer (female) at Laxer, Long and Savage in Ballantyne. They took her to the back without me. Knowing my daughter's personality, I was prepared to hear the screams and for them to come get me. This was only her second dental exam and the first, at another pediatric dentist in Virginia, did not go well. Boy, was I shocked when she made it thru on her own and came out smiling and dancing a ***! She loved it! I am definitely sold on taking her there from now on.

Pediatric Dentist, Orthodontist Charlotte, NC - Drs. Judy Laxer, Sonny Long and Matthew Savage - Specialists in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry

p.s. Two of the dentists are male.

Dr. Chuck Crawford, hands down! I can't get my little girl to leave his office when she goes there. Sometimes she'll actually ask "Mommy, when am I going to see Dr. Chuck again?". She's been going to him for just over 3 years now (she's 7). He has an office in Rock Hill and one in Fort Mill right across from Baxter Village, so it'd be pretty convenient for you. The other dentists that work for him are pretty fabulous as well. My girl has seen them all.

If you looking for one in Fort Mill, I would rec you to try Dr Biehl. His office is next to Gold hill middel. My kids (6 and 8) loves to go there. Him and his staff are wonderful with kids.
