Bought a house here to live in while going to USC. Unbelievable hassles!!! Can't wait to graduate and move on and move out!!! The latest harassment - garbage men didn't pick up the garbage for 2 weeks. Then they left a note that I had so many days to get rid of the garbage (???) then a garbage man, in his off time, came to house ringing the doorbell offering to cart my trash for $250.00!!!! I pay taxes, he should have picked up the trash during his working hours - this town is corrupt. Not the only problems I've had either. Again, I can't wait to graduate and move to a town that welcomes educated, professional people. Springdale is a bad joke.
Are you in the town limits or a private development that contracts trash pick-up?
What have your other problems been?
And, which Springdale? There are multiple Springdales -- Lexington, Spartanburg, Aiken and Oconee Counties.You said USC but which campus? Columbia or Up-state?
Are you sure you are posting in the right forum? I don't know of one in York or Lancaster. With more information, people may be able to give you suggestions.
