Description: One week a year, in early March, the Leo Rich Theater at the TCC comes alive with the sounds of chamber music. Sponsored by the Arizona Friends of Chamber Music, the festival features top musicians and promising young talent playing everything from classic to modern pieces. A short introduction is given before each concert. The concerts are held on opening Sunday night; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, and the closing Sunday afternoon. A youth concert free to area students is held on Wednesday. The Gala Benefit Dinner is held on Saturday evening. Tickets are available for individual concerts, with discounts to students with ID. A package for all of the concerts is also available. The gala is priced separately. Chamber music is a part of the evening, of course. And take a little bit of the evening home with you by buying a CD of previous years’ concerts. The Friends of Chamber Music also hold a series of concerts throughout the year.
