Description: Fox Run is in the Black Forest area. The open meadows, gazebo, lake, forest, and playground make this a perfect place for a family gathering or just a day spent outside. The Oak Meadows area has 3 picnic pavilions, each with seating for 50 people at 7 tables, grills, and electrical outlets. There also are restrooms, a sand volleyball court (bring your own net and ball), and a horseshoe pit (bring you own ’shoes). The Pine Meadows area has 2 similar pavilions, each with lighting. The gazebo at Aspen Lake seats about 20 and can be reserved for weddings and other ceremonies. There are a few trails, but mainly this is a park for picnics and relaxing. Open year-round. North of Colorado Springs, exit I-25 at Baptist Road and go east. Take a right on Roller Coaster Road. Turn right again on Stella Road and turn right into the main entrance.
