Description: This cool little cafe located in a 1910 grocery store on the south end of downtown might remind you of some place you’d find in New York or another major metropolis. A flock of origami cranes fly over your head while you dine on such eclectic fare as Mediterranean tapas, Brazilian coconut shrimp soup, grilled Greek (phelini) paninis, and super-fresh salads. And don’t forget the Double Diablo Chocolate Cake! No, it’s not strictly vegetarian, but vegetarians can certainly find more options here than many local restaurants offer. Portions are pleasingly small but big on flavor. Even though it’s in an old building, it is wheelchair accessible, and there’s ample street parking in the neighborhood. Reservations aren’t taken except for groups of six or more (which would almost fill the place!), and they have a full bar to complement the tasty food.
