Description: Novecento sells itself as a European-style bistro with Latin flair, which is reflected in its menu and international brand; a Buenos Aires and New York location also exist as well as three Miami locations in Brickell, Coral Gables, and Key Biscayne. Certain dishes such as the Sopa de Vegetales con Pollo—vegetable soup with chicken; cilantro soup; and beef, spinach, cheese, or chicken empanadas reflect direct Latin influences. Other dishes such as the Picadita de Fiambres y Quesos with a smorgasboard of salami, proscuitto, reggianito, fontina, and manchego cheeses, quince jelly, Kalamata olives, crackers, nuts, and basil leaf demonstrate the restaurant’s eclectic fusion menu. For those with less adventurous taste buds, basic salads, pizzas, burgers, and pastas are also available. Those with a sweet tooth shouldn’t miss temptations such as the Todo Chocolate, a warm chocolate truffle; Belgium chocolate ganache and chocolate ice cream; or the Crème Brûlée de Dulce de Leche.
