Description: One of the newest additions to trendy Las Olas, this is another culinary journey through France, but this one—as opposed to the more pristine Le Café de Paris across the street—is more of a casual bistro meets cafe. Inside, you’re greeted with a long, relaxed wooden bar and French newspaper–lined walls. Most of the staff is heavily accented and seem like they left Paris yesterday, and they’ll happily give you the lowdown on any menu item. Crisp sandwiches (served on crusty baguettes, bien sûr) and French onion soup are an excellent bet, though for larger appetites traditional coq au vin and steak frites hit the spot. What we love most about Saint Tropez is that you can pop in for a full meal or simply unwind with a newspaper, snack, and a cup of coffee, pretending you are in a traditional Parisian cafe. Sidewalk tables ensure you can people watch to your heart’s content in a prime spot on Las Olas, or hit the tables out back for a more private outside space.
