Description: Waits are common at this popular Spanish restaurant. Despite relocating to a larger space, seats at the bar and in the wine cellar, which features automatic wine dispensers, remain a hot commodity. The menu, which is particularly large by the average tapas bar standards, has something for everyone from asparagus in vinaigrette to squid in ink sauce to chorizo stewed in hard cider. There are also sandwiches stuffed with familiar Basque ingredients (manchego cheese and Serrano ham, fried squid with aioli) and a small breakfast menu. Before leaving, be sure to visit the gourmet market, which is a great place to fill a picnic basket with cheeses and cured meats for beach trips.
