Description: With almost 105,000 students in grades K–12, Pinellas County Schools is the 25th largest school district in the nation. Pinellas County has 80 elementary schools, 23 middle schools, 17 high schools, 5 exceptional schools, 9 charter schools, and 5 secondary or alternative education centers. Go to any Pinellas County School to begin the enrollment process. Bring a state-issued photo I.D. (driver license or I.D.) and proof of address (utility bill, rental agreement, or lease). You will be issued a user I.D. and a password. Use the computer at the school or go online at home (www.pcsb.org) to reserve a seat at the close-to-home, magnet, or fundamental school of your choice. Seats are assigned on a space-available basis, so be prepared with a second or third choice. Once you have been assigned a school, take the child’s birth certificate, child’s Social Security number, proof of residency, most recent report card, Florida Certificate of Immunization (DOH 680), and physical examination certificate to the assigned school.
