Description: Seven commissioners oversee Pinellas County government, and they appoint a county administrator to manage the operations. The Pinellas Board of County Commissioners meets on the fifth floor of the County Courthouse (address above) the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. and the third Tuesday of each month at 3 p.m. (agenda items) and 6 p.m. (citizen input and scheduled public hearings). Zoning matters are discussed at these meetings. Board meetings are televised live on Pinellas County Connection TV (PCC-TV). The total population of the incorporated areas is almost 650,000. The population of unincorporated Pinellas County is not quite 300,000. Twenty-four incorporated cities or towns exist in Pinellas County.
