Description: Located in a two-story plaza near the University of South Florida, Sacred Grounds Coffee House serves veggie wraps, quesadillas, nachos, pitas and hummus, smoothies, coffee, and tea—foods you and your body can both enjoy. But it’s not just the food for the body that brings people to Sacred Grounds Coffee House. There’s food for the soul here, too—neighbors coming together to play board games that leave you anything but bored, study groups meeting in the library, people looking for a little peace and quiet along with a cup of coffee. Friday and Saturday nights there’s live music—anything from acoustic folk music to rock, but nothing too heavy. During the week various groups meet here—a Reiki circle, knitters, vegans, pagans, drum circle, and others. Check the calendar for days and times. Sacred Grounds Coffee House opens each evening at 6 p.m. and closes at midnight Sunday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday they’re open until 2 a.m.
