Description: At the edge of Midtown, the Cheshire Motor Inn is inexpensive and no frills but right in the heart of things if you have to go downtown, uptown, or out of town and are on a tight budget. Located just off I-85 (and almost at the junction of GA 400), Cheshire Motor Inn has seen the neighborhood through all its ups and downs. Cheshire Bridge Road is both funky and nice: funky because numerous strip clubs and gay bars are found scattered amongst some of Atlanta’s nicest and most popular restaurants, including Nino’s. Cheshire Bridge also has more than its fair share of Thai restaurants. At this inn you can drive your car right to your room, and if you pick one toward the back end of the complex, when you go out your door, you’ll have a view of towering pines, kudzu, and the handsomely landscaped backyards of a few snazzy Morningside homes.
