Description: More than 16,000 students attend classes at Kennesaw State, which was founded in 1963 as part of the state’s university system. Today it’s nationally recognized as an innovative, teaching-oriented university, offering a wide variety of undergraduate studies in the arts, sciences, education, nursing, and business, as well as graduate degrees in business, education, accounting, professional writing, nursing, and public administration. In addition, the school sponsors many free theater, dance, and arts activities for the general public. Kennesaw’s Continuing Education Program is the largest in the nation. The college is also home to the state’s largest Educational Technology Training Center.The campus is off I-75 at exit 117, 10 miles north of Marietta. Enrollment includes many traditional and nontraditional students.
