Description: At the Château Élan resort and winery (about an hour from Downtown, off I-85), you’ll find two exceptional courses designed by Dennis Griffiths—par 71 and par 72 18-hole courses. A practice facility simulates the course’s challenges and prepares golfers to meet them. Also on the property is a nine-hole, par 3 executive walking course. Rates are $35 to $70 per person Monday through Thursday, $35 to $85 per person Friday through Sunday. The rates include 18 holes of golf, cart rental, and tax. On the par 3 course, fees are $15 for nine holes and $10 for an extra nine. Rates are lower December through March. The course is also home to the Dave Pelz Scoring Game School for those who feel the need to pick up a lesson. Adjoining the courses that are open to the public is the noted Legends at Château Élan private club.
