Description: Wildfire has a 40,000-square-foot warehouse with two indoor playing fields. One is well lighted with barrels and pallets, suitable for competition-style games such as capture the flag. The other 20,000-square-foot room has large boxes arranged in a kind of cityscape, with a Main Street that branches off into side streets and alleyways. Here, players can enjoy elimination games, capture the flag, and other paintball variations. Wildfire has three outdoor fields: Gwinnett, Conyers, and Madison, about 100 acres with four plywood townscapes, woods with both thick and thin brush, open fields, and hills with 80-degree inclines. The outdoor facilities open only on certain weekends, as long as they aren’t booked by a private group. The indoor paintball facility opens every day but Monday. Tuesday through Thursday hours are 1 to 7 p.m.; Friday, 1 to 1 p.m.; Saturday, noon to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 to 7 p.m. The field opens for play at 4 p.m. Wildfire has a full retail store for supplies and accessories. Indoor players average five to six games per hour; outdoors, a day might be composed of only five to eight games total. All sites charge $15 admission. Gun rental is $12. This includes 50 paint balls plus everything you need to play: mask, vest, and so on. Fees are lower on Fridays. You must be at least 10 years old to play; children younger than 18 need a waiver signed by their parents. All players must sign a release.
