Description: The decor of Trattoria Il Localino is an immediate indication that this is not your typical Italian restaurant. The brick walls are decorated in a mixture of photographs of famous Italians, scenes from Italy, and countless photographs of owner Giovanni with a variety of celebrities who have come to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The pasta is as fresh as it gets. Try the three cheese ziti, spaghetti marinara…or the cioppino. Giovanni and his wife, Gayle, move from table to table, welcoming you and sometimes offering up samples of other dishes. You will feel like you’re a part of the family by the time you’re through. The only hint that you aren’t in Italy is that disco ball on the ceiling, but don’t be surprised if the music cranks a little louder and a conga line breaks out. Open for dinner seven days a week.
