Traditional dishes include chicken coconut soup and Thai noodles pan-fried with shrimp and egg and garnished with peanuts and bean sprouts. Or try Koa-Mok-Kai, a luncheon special of marinated chicken and rice. The array of appetizers tempts you to make a meal of them. Try the tender poached basil rolls filled with shrimp, shredded pork, basil lettuce, and bean sprouts, or the Surin baskets, six edible baskets filled with a mixture of spiced chicken, shrimp, and corn. Surin offers a full bar and parking behind the restaurant, serves lunch and dinner seven days a week, and doesn’t take reservations.
