Description: Road Atlanta is a 2.52-mile road racing track about 30 miles northeast of the Perimeter that has attained national stature with its Petit Le Mans race in September. Of local interest is the Panoz racing team, which is headquartered near the track. Both are owned by the Panoz family, which also runs the nearby Château Élan winery and resort. From March through November, Road Atlanta offers an array of sports car, vintage, motorcycle, motocross, and go-kart races as well as entertainment events. Parking is free and so is infield camping. Adult ticket prices vary with events; kids 12 and younger are always admitted free. Infield parking is also free. Infield camping is available; call for rates and reservations.
