Description: American Adventures, next to Six Flags White Water in Marietta, is an eclectic amusement park with appeal to funsters of all ages. You can play outdoor miniature golf, speed around a racetrack, test your mettle in the arcade, ride the Super Slide, or frolic in foam balls. When you’re finished with that, there’s still the carousel and a train ride. Kids are partial to the Foam Factory, a three-story, interactive arena where 50,000 foam balls are slung around the area. The park’s open Monday through Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. (longer hours in the summer), 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Winter hours vary but generally run from noon to 6 p.m. daily. Take exit 113 off I-75 North to reach American Adventures. Be prepared to pay a $6 parking fee. There’s no admission charge, but each attraction costs money. You can pay as you go or opt for one of the economy packages. All-day fun passes cost $19.99, three hours goes for $15.99.
