Description: Despite its location among the bars and nightclubs of West Glen, this is actually a nice little neighborhood-style pizza parlor with some tasty pies. It’s simple, basic pizza, with a selection of meats and veggies for toppings, as well as some specialty pizzas like bacon cheeseburger and barbecue chicken. The “Crack Pizza” has white sauce, chicken, bacon, fresh basil, and tomato. Salads, including a Caesar and a wedge salad with blue cheese, are a decent accompaniment. Pastas include spaghetti under a blanket of marinara, a thickly layered lasagna, and penne baked with marinara, sausage, onion, mushroom, green pepper, and pepperoni. There’s beer on tap and a wine list. Several sandwiches, including an Italian grinder with melted mozzarella, Italian meatball with sautéed red onions, roasted red peppers, and provolone, and an Italian sub that has capocollo, pepperoni, and salami baked with mozzarella on a toasted hoagie bun round out the menu.
