Description: This Des Moines outpost of a midwestern chain, located in a Radisson hotel near the airport, is perennially popular with locals and out-of-towners alike. Focus on the “steakhouse”—there are plenty of cuts of meat to choose from. The rib eye and porterhouse are huge and tasty and come with salad, bread, and choice of a side dish. Prime rib (available Fri, Sat, and Sun only) is juicy and tender. They do a Steak de Burgo here, Des Moines’s signature filet sautéed in garlic and herbs.
