Description: On its sprawling 930 acres, the nearly 70,000-seat Speedway, which celebrated its 10th anniversary during its 2011 season, features a 1.5-mile, D-shaped, tri-oval track for NASCAR Sprint Cup, NASCAR Nationwide, and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events; the Route 66 is a quarter-mile drag strip and half-mile dirt oval track. Together, these sister tracks comprise 1,300 acres of racing and offer full-throttle action for season ticket-holders and now single-day ticket-holders. Head to Champions Park for pre-race revving up, as you browse the monuments in honor of the winners of the Speedway’s NASCAR Sprint Cup and IndyCar Series since the Speedway opened. Get behind the driver’s seat with the NASCAR Racing Experience or Mario Andretti Racing Experience (877-722-3527), and the Richard Petty Driving Experience (800-237-3889).
