Description: Established by Enrico and Nino Giacalone in 1983 and moved to its present location in 1987, Chianti offers exquisite dishes reminiscent of northern Italy cooking. Quaint and romantic, this fine-dining experience offers you many signature dishes from which to choose. Scallopini alle noci & more involves veal Scallopini topped with shrimp, blackberries, sautéed mushrooms, shallots, and roasted almonds. Tagliolini verdi al prosciutto offers spinach pasta with prosciutto ham, mushrooms, demi-glace tomatoes, and cheese. Cosi buono! Fish, lamb chops, and even steaks receive an Italian treatment. And the specials are always worth considering. A private dining area is available. Both the food and service set this local favorite apart from other restaurants in the area. Seating for 120, but in this intimate environment, you may not notice other patrons. On most weekends there will be music in the Green Room. Open Mon through Fri for lunch, 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., then for dinner from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Sat open from 5:30 to 10 p.m., and on Sun from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and for dinner from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
