The 1875 building, once home to the Snow family, has been restored to its former grandeur by the Maas family and is truly a pleasure to visit. The view from the dining room is breathtaking in any season, and the decor is elegant yet understated. The menu features well-prepared classics like pepper-crusted duck breast, steamed lobster, fried clams, and the inn’s signature dish, sole stuffed with seafood and served with a lobster cream sauce. During summer, the inn offers outdoor dining overlooking Town Cove with a view of Nauset Marsh in the distance. The lunch menu stars tempting sandwiches, wraps, and seafood rolls. You can order lunch until 4 p.m. Spend some time downstairs in O’Hagan’s Irish Pub, where the martinis are famous and the ambience friendly. Orleans Inn is open daily year-round for lunch and dinner.
