Description: Although this is one of the more remote Massachusetts beaches, Horseneck is hugely popular with local day-trippers. Horseneck has a sweep of nearly 2 miles of southwest-facing beach, so the water is generally warm. It’s also popular with sailboarders, so you know this is also a great spot to fly a kite. And with 600 acres of salt dunes and marshlands, this is also a prime site for birding. The sunsets are gorgeous, too.
