Description: Two downtown Marriott hotels can cause confusion. This one, the Marriott Inner Harbor, is at Pratt and Eutaw Streets across from Camden Yards and a block from the Convention Center. The other one, the Marriott Waterfront, is the 32-story building on the water and a long stone’s throw from Little Italy and Fell’s Point. Make sure you know which one you want when you register.Built in 1984, this 10-story hotel has 490 traditional rooms and 34 suites. A gift and sundry shop in the lobby, full business center, secretarial services, and safe deposit box at the front desk are among the services available. Each guest room has a Marriott Revive bed and high-speed Internet access (fee). A fitness center with cardiovascular equipment, free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes, and Nautilus machine are available for those who like to work out while they’re away from home. The indoor pool no longer exists. Dine at the Café Promenade and or enjoy light bites at The Yard. The Marriot has seasonal rates, particularly around the baseball season. Packages are available that include breakfast. Another package includes two tickets to the Baltimore Aquarium. The attached garage, which is independently operated, costs $24 per day.
