Description: In the heart of the Fell’s Point waterfront, Celie’s Waterfront Inn Bed and Breakfast features open rooms, many with skylights, and lots of modern conveniences for a bed-and-breakfast. All seven rooms offer a private bath, air-conditioning, and a choice of king-, queen-, or single-size beds. Rooms vary in their offerings, some with fireplaces, whirlpool tub, private balcony, and harbor views. Everyone can spy the city skyline from the rooftop deck and visit the private gardens maintained by innkeepers Kevin and Nancy Kupec. The Courtyard Room is wheelchair accessible and has its own courtyard. Guests will find many antiques and collectibles, fresh-cut flowers, down comforters, flannel sheets, thick terry robes, and bath sheets in all of the rooms. They’ll also find a TV; refrigerator; stocked with soft drinks, juices, and mineral water; and even VCR and coffeemaker are available. The most popular rooms are the Harbor Front rooms, where guests can have a king-size bed, wood-burning fireplace, wicker seating, a whirlpool tub, and three windows facing the harbor. Although it’s not close to the university, Celie’s offers discounts to Johns Hopkins Hospital patients and “family members” during weekdays. Children older than age 10 are welcome; and smoking is prohibited. Private telephone lines are in all rooms, and breakfast is a combination of fresh fruits, juices, baked breads, and cereals. Celie’s is a Maryland Bed and Breakfast Association member.
