Description: Penn Station is a marvel, with beautiful light-wood benches with high backs waiting for weary travelers to sit on for a minute or a day. A major terminal between New York and Washington, Penn Station is served by the Acela Express trains that travel the Northeast corner, and Acela Regional trains that have a few more stops along the way. Located conveniently on Charles Street and just off I-83 (the Jones Falls Expressway), a parking garage is available for dropping off and picking up passengers. During normal business hours, you can find a store selling juices, candy, and magazines, and it has a small sandwich counter.Amtrak also has a station at the BWI Marshall airport, about 11 miles south of Baltimore. It offers free bus transfers to the airport terminal. It’s a small station that is open from about 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a ticketing office, a snack stand open during the usual business hours, restrooms, and a small waiting area. There’s plenty of parking, too. The MARC trains stop here, too.
