Description: Lots of free parking and bright, clean, inviting facilities are the lure of the Baltimore Travel Plaza, conveniently located off I-895 and I-95 in Northeast Baltimore. If you are planning to take a Trailways or Peter Pan bus heading to New York City, Atlantic City, or a variety of other locations up and down the East Coast and beyond, then this is the place to catch it in the Baltimore area. Like the Greyhound terminal on Haines Street near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the Baltimore Travel Plaza also offers access to Greyhound buses, traveling to New York City more than 10 times a day and to points farther north, south, and west. In addition, a number of tour buses heading to points all over the mid–Atlantic, especially Atlantic City, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and western Maryland, also offer pickups and drop-offs at the Travel Plaza. The plaza offers clean and open counters for purchasing tickets, plenty of wood tables and chairs for waiting for the bus, and a variety of time-killing ideas. It’s about a 15-minute taxicab ride from the Travel Plaza to the Inner Harbor area. The plaza is also accessible by city bus.
