Telephone: (410) 563-2666
Address: 1019 East Lombard St.

Description: Attman’s has been here since 1915, which translates to shortly after Noah’s ark landed. It used to be part of a very competitive “Corned Beef Row,” but Attman’s is what remains. You can order the brisket, the white meat turkey, tongue, shrimp salad (no, it’s not kosher), or bagel with Nova and cream cheese. Seriously, folks, they’re great, but it’s a deli on corned beef row. Go with the corned beef or the pastrami. Come back for the other stuff next time. A large stretch of the imagination might make you think of New York delis, but about the only similarity is you can order Dr. Brown’s soda. You might even be able to find some Tulkoff’s horseradish. The food’s great, the prices are reasonable, and the sandwich might have enough meat on it to feed you for the rest of the week. Attman’s is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They’ll even deliver with a $50 minimum purchase or ship anywhere in the world. I don’t know about the anywhere, but probably that means anywhere you would probably want to ship.
