Description: Bintliff’s has been a favorite of locals since it opened in 1990. The restaurant serves dinner Wednesday through Saturday, but it is the daily brunch that has made it so popular with Portlanders. Brunch is served from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and there is something on the menu for just about anyone’s taste. There are seven different kinds of eggs Benedict, including the Downeast Benedict, made with lobster, crab, or salmon. You can make your own omelet, or go for the oyster and smoked bacon frittata. Try the Georgia pecan caramel waffles, the classic Tuscan French toast, or a plate of the specialty pancakes, such as the banana pecan pancakes or the gingerbread pancakes with lemon syrup. There’s local Grandy Oats granola, and homemade corned beef hash, too. Bintliff’s has a full bar that serves classic brunch cocktails, such as Bloody Marys and mimosas. Brunch reservations are accepted Monday through Friday only. Dinner is served from 5 to 9 p.m., and reservations are accepted.
