Description: With an amazing ocean view on the beach, this family-style restaurant allows patrons to sit right above the ocean. You can feel the salt spray if you dine on the screened porch, and from inside the air-conditioned building, you’ll notice that waves sometimes crash beneath the wooden floor’s slats. This is a great, easygoing place to enjoy a big breakfast before a day of fishing or to take a break from angling on a hot afternoon. The Em Special is an insiders’ favorite for breakfast. Lunch includes sandwiches, soups, and seafood specials. Dinner entrees include local fresh seafood, steaks, and chicken. All-you-can-eat dinners are popular picks, accompanied by coleslaw, hush puppies, and french fries. You can have your fish grilled, broiled, or fried. And, if you hook ‘em, they cook ‘em. Free sightseeing passes come with supper so you can stroll down the long pier after your meal and watch the anglers and surfers. Pier House Restaurant is open seven days a week from Mar through Nov. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served until mid-October, and the restaurant has all liquor permits.
