Description: Owned by the City of Owasso, Bailey Ranch offers 18 holes of links-style golf. The layout wanders through and around trees, creeks, lakes, and grassland, making it one of Oklahoma’s most scenic layouts. Water plays a big role on this course, with either ponds or creeks on over half the holes. The signature hole is the 17th—requiring a tee shot over water. This hole was named one of the “Five Great Holes You Should Play” in the Tulsa World’s 2007 golf guide. Designed by Bland Pittman, the 6,260-yard (from the men’s tees), par 72 course opened in 1993. PGA pro Corey Burd is the director of golf. You’re not required to use a cart on this course. Soft spikes and shirts with sleeves are required. You can reserve a tee time eight days in advance, and this is recommended for weekend play. The course is occasionally closed for tournament play, so check before you go if you don’t have a tee time reserved.A driving range and full practice facilities are available. The clubhouse has a well-stocked pro shop and Bailey’s Grille, which prepares breakfast items, burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches.
