Description: This company offers four historic tours of Charleston for small groups by car or van. Tour 1 is a general history tour (allow 75 minutes) covering more than 110 points of interest including a stop at the Battery overlooking Fort Sumter. Adults and teen admissions are $28. Tour 2 is a 90-minute trip specializing in specific subjects: the colonial period and the Revolution, the Civil War, black history, and architectural points of interest. Reservations for these tours are required a day in advance, and the cost is $33 per person. Tour 3 offers 90 minutes of general history (same as Tour 1), followed by a guided tour of one of Charleston’s house museums (the Nathaniel Russell House, Heyward-Washington House, or the Aiken-Rhett House). Rates for adults and children are $45. Tour 4 is a private plantation tour lasting about 4 hours. It includes a trip up the historic Ashley River Road and a visit to one of two historic Lowcountry plantations (your choice), either Middleton Place or Magnolia Plantation, or over to Mount Pleasant for a visit to Boone Hall Plantation.
