Description: Cricket Cove opened in July 1997 and is the last such venture that will be permitted on saltwater marsh because the wetlands are a protected natural habitat. Concrete floating docks offer transient boat storage, and 75-plus wet slips are available for boats from 40 to 55 feet in length. There is 250 feet of face dock on the T of A dock and 200 feet on B, so they do get a lot of large boats. Dry storage can accommodate 340 vessels as long as 35 feet. Two fueling depots, inside and outside, offer gas and diesel fuel pumps. Hookups include water, cable TV, telephone, and 30-, 50-, and 100-amp electricity. Cricket Cove serves guests with showers, bathrooms, and laundry facilities. The Upper Deck, (843) 280-3189, opened in Feb 1998 and serves lunch and dinner. The Upper Deck opens daily at 11:30 a.m. Marina hours are 8 a.m. to sunset seven days a week.
