Description: A true wellness facility, the center uses education to improve the lives and health of its participants. It is open year-round, and programs run from 5 to 20 days. Participants hike, work out, attend lectures on medicine, nutrition, cooking, and stress; and enjoy massages and hydrotherapy monitored by staff physicians. Meals are vegan (no meat, eggs, or animal products), as the staff are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The center, however, is nondenominational and nonprofit.
