Description: Sanford’s decorative theme is “junkyard chic.” This charming place is full of antiques, old Coke machines, aging bicycles suspended from the ceiling, and memorabilia from nearby Black Hills State University. It opens at 11 a.m. for lunch and closes at 10 p.m., seven days a week in the summer. Call for winter hours. You’ll want to read more about Sanford’s menu in the Restaurants chapter, but you’ll find foods in jumbo portions, half-pound burgers, crawfish, barbecue, pasta, steaks, and seafood—and nightly dinner specials. Choose from among more than 99 beers and 20 taps. This pub offers hard liquor, beer, and wine.
