Those who aren’t familiar with the drive-in thing can get a blast from the past here. Roll down the windows, tune your radio to the broadcast, and hang your feet out the window if you like. The Broadway—family-owned and -operated since 1950—is open spring through fall. The theater shows new movies, including many especially kid-friendly flicks. Movies are shown Fri through Sun and begin at dusk. Get here early enough to make a run to the concession stand (you’ll probably have to wait in line) before the movie starts. There’s no extra charge for the country air, twinkling stars, and sounds of crickets.
