Description: The first of two Hyatt properties to open at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, this one has been frequently renovated to remain contemporary. Only when the flashy new Grand Hyatt opened across the way did this one seem a bit dated. Nevertheless, it’s a good hotel with everything you’d need if you’re here on a layover or wanting to spend the night before a very early-morning flight. There’s wireless Internet access, of course, and each guest room has a desk in a work area for the business traveler. Suites come with one, two, or three bedrooms with dining/conference area and kitchenette, too. There are business and meeting facilities on-property, as well as a swimming pool and updated fitness center. Fine dining is at the pricey Mister G’s, which offers an unexpectedly impressive wine cellar; Jacob’s Spring Grille is the everyday restaurant, and there’s a coffee bar and Aces Lobby Bar, with a sports theme, on-site, too.
