Description: This upscale Eastside restaurant offers a fancy dining experience in a nonetheless casual atmosphere. The menu here includes aged hand-cut steaks, cooked at 1,200 degrees to sear in their natural juices, and fresh, never frozen seafood. A number of unique side dishes on offer include a delicious sweet potato and pecan casserole, as well as tempura (deep fried) green beans, which add to a hearty steak meal. Delaney’s has a sizeable wine list and full bar, and they offer dining on a large patio. In the bar, happy hour is from 2 to 7 p.m. daily, with half-price appetizers. Though the dining area here leaves a little something to be desired, with basic bland carpeting and little in the way of unique decor, the beautiful marble-topped bar is a lovely place to cozy up with a glass of wine. Performances of live music happen on Tuesday and Saturday evenings.
