Description: Set in the grand Camino Real Hotel, the Dome Restaurant is both elegant and unique, named for the antique Tiffany glass dome that crowns the space in the historic hotel bar. The Dome is the place to go for formal, gourmet dining, as it is the area’s only 4-Diamond restaurant. All of the traditional classic entrees are on offer here, from Escargot Bordelaise to the roast rack of lamb. If the food here could be overshadowed, it could only be outdone by the unbelievable turn-of-the-century setting, where you could imagine Pancho Villa taking in a gourmet meal. The Dome’s menu is complemented by its selection of vintage wine.The best way to enjoy the Dome is to make an evening of it. Plan to enjoy dinner in the restaurant first (be sure to make reservations, as it does fill up with locals and traveling businessmen), taking your time to enjoy the extremely elegant and classic flavors and textures of the food on offer.
