Description: Michelino’s has been in business for more than three decades. It is the classic fine Italian restaurant, but with such reasonable menu prices that it is perhaps one of the best value Italian restaurants in El Paso. In the past, Michelino’s has been awareded the “Feast of the East” prize for best pasta, and the complete Italian menu here includes specialties like eggplant Parmigiana and chicken Jerusalem. Many of Michelino’s pasta dinners are available in either a half or full order, and all come with complimentary house salad and garlic bread. Although the menu gives the option of upgrading to the classic salad for just $1, there is really no need, as the house salad is absolutely delectable and comes with their special dressing, made in-house. Furthermore, the wine list here consists of two dozen or so bottles of European wines, most of which go for little more than you would pay at the supermarket. Michelino’s dining room is dimly lit and cozy, providing a dining experience typical of many Italian restaurants, but one that will bring you back for another meal. They are open for lunch on weekdays only, but serve dinner everyday.
