Address: 110 South Henry St.

Description: Seasons has captured a loyal audience since its opening in the old post office on Merchants Square in 1993. The restaurant seats 350, with nearly one-third on an awning-covered patio outside. But the restaurant is divided into several rooms and small areas to provide a sense of intimacy. The theme is most definitely southern (check out the plantation mural), but the cuisine is varied and delicious: Linguine with spicy peanut sauce and fresh swordfish are favorites. Don’t overlook the salad bar with its creative seafood and other salads, or the grilled sandwiches on sourdough bread. The smoked barbecued ribs are national-award winners. A terrific Sunday brunch offers seafood Newburg, beef Burgundy, and breakfast items such as flavored waffles. Flavored cappuccinos from the bar will round out an enjoyable meal.
