Grier Musser Museum


Grier Musser Museum is located at South Bonnie Brae Street in Los Angeles, California and is approximately 18 miles from the city's international airport. Reservations are necessary to visit this Queen Anne House, which is open Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 4pm. Free parking available at the rear of the building and the museum is close to the Red Line Subway Station.

Group tours are available where visitors will be shown the architectural features of the house, which was built at the turn of the 20th century. The museum also features many antique collections that can be viewed as part of their exhibits, including furnishings, clothing, paintings and ceramics. The museum doesn't just reflect the Victorian era but also celebrate aspects of modern culture with past exhibits about Elvis Presley and Star Wars.

Exhibits also reflect the time of year with special events at Easter, Halloween, Christmas and other special occasions in the calendar. After visiting the museum visitors may wish to find somewhere to dine and there are several restaurants nearby such as Andre's Italian Restaurant and Chado Tea Room in West 3rd Street. There are many other places of interest near the museum such as Chinatown, Queen of the Angel's Cathedral and the Japanese American Museum.
