Orinda Theater

The Orinda Theater Square is home to the historic Orinda Theater located at 2 Theatre Square, Suite 143 in Orinda, California. The theater has been in operation for decades and is one of the oldest theaters offering block buster hits and new releases. Shopping, dining, and playing can all be found at various locations scattered through the Square. The theatre is conveniently located off Highway 24 just east of the Caldecott Tunnel at Camino Pablo Road. The area offers a variety of public transportation options and is served by the BART or Bay Area Rapid Transit system. The Orinda Bart Station provides easy access to the Orinda Theater. Throughout the weekdays, three hours of parking is free with validation and on weekends parking is totally free of charge and no validation is required.

The surrounding city of Orinda is very family oriented and situated in a semi rural type valley setting. The local residents and visitors enjoy a serene atmosphere in contrast to the Oakland and Berkeley hills urban existence nearby.
