Rancho Sisquoc Winery

The Rancho Sisquoc Winery offers a variety of small craft wines from its 300 acre winery in Santa Maria. The winery was one of the first in the area and produces a number of award-winners in its wine stock. The winery is located about 14 miles eat of Santa Maria on land that was originally a Spanish land grant. On the vineyard land is a farmhouse and barn, dating from the early 20th century. There are also a number of artifacts that give the place an historic feeling. The wines produced from Rancho Sisquoc are different than any in the area because the vineyard is cooler than the Santa Ynez Valley and warmer than the Santa Marian Valley. This micro-climate allows the winery to produce Burgundy, Bordeaux and Tuscan varietals. The tasting room at the winery is nestled in the acres of the winery and offers a chance to try the wines and learn from the experienced, knowledgeable winery staff. The tasting room is surrounded by picnic grounds where guests can enjoy a snack or lunch with their wine. Fans of Rancho Sisquoc can join the wine club and receive discounts on a variety of wines, invitations to special events and access to special release wines throughout their membership.
